UX/UI Designer

Retorio is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and talented UX/UI Designer to build and shape our product and everything else that can be directly seen by our customers and the outer world, part-time (up to 20h a week).

Being part of a new, revolutionary tech startup, which combines artificial intelligence with psychology, you will have the chance to help users in making intangible things understandable and help them to improve their daily work and live.

Retorio is a revolutionary software based on artificial intelligence and psychology that enables recruiters to assess job candidates’ soft skills, candidate fit, and gives access to cutting-edge training. Integrating the newest technology on the market for detecting human behavior (e.g., facial expressions, voice, language, and gesture) and personality (i.e., Big5), Retorio contributes to a data-driven recruitment process that saves candidate screening time, reduces bias, and results in finding the right person for every job.


Job Description

As UX/UI Designer you will be responsible for helping us to design software that can be intuitively used and making data easy interpretable and digestible.




  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback


  • Work closely with our development team
  • Work closely with our concept team
  • Translate feedback from Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support into new ideas



  • Experience in designing for web-based software products
  • Experience in designing for App’s
  • Optional: Basic coding skills (e.g., chart.js or something similar
  • Optional: HTML5 & CSS skills
